Sharing Child Life in the Clinics

As I was reading articles, I came across a really sweet one in The Virginia-Pilot about how one child life specialist is helping kids in a cancer clinic. It’s a quick read, but I liked how well it encompassed the many jobs child life specialist have. In addition, the article doesn’t shy away from one of the hardest jobs of child life, which is providing bereavement support. It’s definitely a tough job, but it is very important. I also love that he was reading one of my all-time favorite kids story, “The Monster at the End of this Book! If you would like to read the article in it’s entirety, you can click here.
